Bio

Will Geiger joined Touchdown Ventures in 2017 and is a member of the Los Angeles team. Prior to joining Touchdown, Will worked for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors in their growth private equity group and also for the Gideon Hixon Fund, the venture investment arm of the Hixon family office.

Will graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Environmental Sciences and Business, and received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management where he was a Carter Fellow and a Venture Fellow.

Will is an avid sports enthusiast, and has been a lifelong fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, and Los Angeles Kings. He enjoys playing competitive tennis, beach volleyball, skiing, and spending time in the ocean. Additionally, Will is a skilled guitarist, having played for nearly 20 years, and loves to play and listen to classic rock music.

Experience

Will’s first stint in venture capital was with the Gideon Hixon Fund, where he focused on transactions in the education technology, healthcare, life science, and media industries. He also led an investment in the Saint Archer Brewing Company, where he served as an advisor to the company’s management team until it was acquired by MillerCoors in 2015.

After business school, Will joined the team at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, where he gained experience evaluating and investing in lower-middle-market B2B software companies.
