Douglas joined Touchdown Ventures in 2021 to focus on healthcare and medical technology investments. Prior to joining Touchdown, Douglas was a co-founder of Cellgorithmics, a synthetic biology company. Douglas was also one of the first employees at Ki Mobility, spending 8 years helping the company grow from a small startup to a national leader in the durable medical equipment space. Douglas also spent two years in equity research at Morgan Stanley covering the medical technology sector.
Douglas earned his BS in Finance & Investment from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and both his Master of Public Health and MBA from UC Berkeley, where he graduated with honors.
Outside of work, Douglas enjoys being healthy and active, and is a certified yoga teacher. He loves good coffee, live music, craft cider, and reading at the beach.
