Vinesh Kapil joined Touchdown Ventures in 2021. He began his career at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where he worked in the Center for Innovation and Impact, making global health investments. At USAID, he co-managed Saving Lives at Birth (SL@B), a $100M investment portfolio funding, supporting, and scaling catalytic innovation in the field of maternal and neonatal health. He also worked at CVS Health, focusing on patient service innovation, and helped launch CVS Health’s Design Lab.
Vinesh received a BA from Duke University in international comparative studies and global health and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Keller Scholar, a Fuqua Scholar, and graduated with certificates in strategy and social entrepreneurship.
Outside of work, Vinesh is the founder of SEE (The Society for Early Entrepreneurs), an entrepreneurship mentoring program for high school students. Additionally, he loves traveling (+30 countries), food (both cooking and eating), music (everything except metal), tennis, basketball, and skiing.
