Harout Nazerian joined Touchdown Ventures in 2022 and focuses on investments in retail, industrial technology, and sustainability. Prior to Touchdown, he spent 4 years at Nex Cubed and Sway Ventures investing in and launching startups, handling investor relations, and supporting fundraising efforts for the company and portfolio.
Prior to venture capital, Harout was as an entrepreneur running a gourmet food truck business and spent six years as a structural engineer leading teams on billion-dollar projects for some of the world’s largest oil and gas corporations.
Throughout Harout’s career he developed experience in evaluating opportunities, and leading and executing on strategic initiatives for small and large corporations.
Harout graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a BS and MS in Engineering and Construction Management and received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a specialization in Marketing.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Harout enjoys cooking and BBQing, exploring restaurants in LA and when traveling, and rooting for the LA Clippers as one of their few long-time fans. He loves soccer and futsal and is always up for playing any team sport.
