Orion Choy joined Touchdown Ventures in 2022. Prior to Touchdown, Orion was on the corporate development and strategy team at InterDigital where he was responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, such as acquisitions and partnerships, and managed the company’s M&A pipeline to proactively engage potential acquisition opportunities.
Orion began his career at Deutsche Bank where he helped the corporate strategy team develop the go-to-market strategy to expand to three new countries. Orion’s journey in entrepreneurship and innovation began as a Venture for America fellow. As part of the fellowship, Orion was the Financial Controller for Simply Good Jars, a Philadelphia-based consumer packaged goods startup.
Orion graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and received the chartered financial analyst designation.
Outside of work, Orion enjoys staying active and likes to play volleyball and ski. He loves to travel and visit new places both in the U.S. and internationally. He is also the proud parent of several house plants and one betta fish.
