Sophia Dodd joined Touchdown in 2021. She focuses on early and growth stage investments in the Consumer and Built World segments.
Prior to Touchdown, Sophia worked for Brookfield Properties, investing in and managing commercial real estate. She first developed an interest in venture capital evaluating potential strategic partnerships with startups redefining office space utilization and the future of work while with Brookfield. To build her venture skillset, she participated in Venture University’s Investor Accelerator program.
Sophia graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in business & enterprise management with a customized area of focus in data analytics & finance. She played Division I volleyball.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Sophia finds joy and fulfillment in the outdoors. An avid skier, climber, reader, and aspiring surfer, she embraces every opportunity to challenge herself physically and mentally while exploring the beauty of nature.
